Reflection
What is your project? For the month of August I worked on the mural. I painted using different types of brushes. It takes a lot of work and it still isn't completed.
What could you have done better?I think I could've planned my time better and gotten more done. I wasted time working on the lake only to have other people paint over it when I could've been working on the school.
Important Elements:There has to be tight lines and good shapes and form in order for everything to look clean and realistic.
What did you learn?Don't waste time doing something when you'd do better and get more done working on something else.
Why did you do it the way you did?I started on the lake thinking I was painting it the right color, but because of the dark paint underneath, the paint I put on ended up darkening up. So instead I started working on the steps to the school.

What are the strong parts of your project?I was really happy with the colors of paint I used on the parts of the mural I worked on, they match the vision I had for it very well.
Whats the deeper meaning? We are showing school spirit and expressing and representing who we are as a school body.
Important Principles:It shows unity because everything is tied to who we are, where we come from, and what we do as Clear Lake High School Students.
Design Process:I took pictures of the real life thing I was painting and compared what needed to be done to what was already done, and used paint, brushes, and tape to paint what I needed to paint.
Was the project worthwhile? After moving on from the lake, yes. I wasted a lot of time on the lake that could've been spent better somewhere else. For my next project, I'm going to work on watercolor paintings.
